Outpatient Staff Pharmacist Albuquerque, NM

RPh on the Go is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Albuquerque, NM to play a crucial role in providing pharmaceutical services to our patients and customers. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for checking orders, overseeing technicians, and restocking machines.

Hours: 30 hours a week

Shifts: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 9:45 am - 6:30 pm, Friday: 7:45 am - 4:30 pm, Saturday: 9:45 am - 3:00 pm

Pharmacy Duties:

• Responsible for accurately dispensing medications to patients, ensuring that proper dosages and labeling are provided.
• Offer counseling to patients regarding their medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and general medication information.
• Verify and review medication orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with medical prescriptions.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians, ensuring they are performing their duties efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
• Engage in medication compounding as needed, especially for medications that require specialized preparation.
• Utilize Omnicell and ScriptPro systems for automated medication dispensing and management.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus, as it can help in serving a diverse patient population effectively.

Requirements:

• 1+ Years of Outpatient Hospital Experience
• New Mexico (NM) Pharmacy License

This role as a Staff Pharmacist in Albuquerque involves a variety of responsibilities, including medication dispensing, patient counseling, and overseeing pharmacy operations. The ability to work with automated dispensing systems like Omnicell and ScriptPro is essential.
