RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week overnight shift assignment at an inpatient hospital in Chicago, Illinois. This position offers the opportunity to work a 7 on, 7 off schedule, with shifts from 9 PM to 7 AM, providing a balanced work-life schedule while serving an essential role in the hospital s pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately for inpatient use, following physician orders.
• Verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Monitor patient profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, including drug information and recommendations.
• Ensure the safe handling and storage of medications, including controlled substances.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy system for order entry and medication management.

Required Qualifications:

• Inpatient pharmacy experience is required.
• Illinois Pharmacy License in good standing.
• Availability to work overnight shifts (9 PM to 7 AM) on a 7 on, 7 off schedule.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours.
