Overnight IHS Inpatient Pharmacist (7-on/7-off)

RPh on the Go is actively hiring for an Overnight Inpatient Pharmacist position at an IHS facility in Northern Arizona. This is a 13-week travel assignment working 7 on / 7 off overnight shifts. The pharmacist will be responsible for managing inpatient pharmacy operations, verifying medication orders, overseeing workflow, and ensuring medication safety for a wide range of patients.

Position Details:

• Location: Northern Arizona
• Duration: 13+ weeks Contract
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, 8:00 PM 8:00 AM
• Setting: Inpatient Hospital
• EMR: Allscripts
• Travel: Covered (mileage and hotel if applicable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee night shift pharmacy operations
• Verify medication orders and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
• Coordinate with technicians and other staff to manage workflow
• Provide clinical support and medication guidance as needed
• Perform other inpatient pharmacist duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current through the American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacist experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no religious exemptions accepted; medical exemptions require review board approval)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of inpatient experience
• Board Certification in a recognized ASHP specialty
