Overnight Inpatient Pharmacist NE Tribal Hospital | | Night Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Overnight Inpatient Pharmacist to support a tribal hospital in Winnebago, Nebraska. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with strong clinical skills who can work independently and provide critical support during overnight hours.

Shift:

• Overnight shift (exact hours to be confirmed)

• Full-time contract assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all pharmacy operations independently during overnight hours

• Support inpatient services including IV preparation, RSI medication support, and dose calculations

• Provide immediate pharmacological expertise to the Emergency Department during urgent or trauma cases

• Verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and adherence to hospital protocols

• Serve as the primary pharmacy contact for overnight nursing and clinical teams

Requirements:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist License (required)

• Proven experience in an inpatient hospital setting

• Comfortable with sterile compounding, emergency medication support, and overnight responsibilities

• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to the Winnebago community

While overnight volume is typically low, this role is critical for responding to emergent care needs and ensuring continuity of care.
