Position Overview:

As the Overnight Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the medication management and pharmaceutical needs of residents during the night shift. Your role will ensure that residents receive accurate and timely medication administration, while also providing expert guidance to nursing staff and addressing any pharmaceutical concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Ensure proper medication administration and monitoring of resident responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmacotherapy and resolve drug-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records and documentation.
• Provide pharmaceutical care and education to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to medication-related inquiries and emergencies during overnight hours.

Shift:

• 7 on 7 off: 8:00pm - 7:00am

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy experience.
• LTC experience a plus.
• Pennsylvania pharmacy license.
