We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Overnight Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contracted assignment at a reputable long-term care facility in Aurora, Colorado.

Job Description:
As an Overnight Staff Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate preparation, dispensing, and oversight of medications for long-term care patients. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly impact patient health outcomes during the critical overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
• Perform medication reviews to ensure safety, efficacy, and compliance with physician orders.
• Provide medication consultations and guidance to healthcare staff as needed.
• Oversee and monitor the work of pharmacy technicians to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed and accurate pharmacy records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Address and resolve any medication-related issues during overnight hours.

Shift:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:30pm - 7:00am

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in Colorado
• Recent pharmacy experience
