We are seeking a Texas licensed Pharmacist for a contract to hire opportunity in an independent retail pharmacy in Bryan. Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and possible Fridays (4-5 hour shifts).

  • Manage all aspects of the pharmacy department, including staff supervision, workflow optimization, and inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to pharmacy staff on medication therapy management
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through medication therapy
  • Conduct medication therapy reviews and provide patient counseling on proper medication use
  • Oversee the compounding and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards
  • Monitor drug utilization patterns and implement strategies to promote cost-effective prescribing practices
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy practice, including new medications, treatment guidelines, and regulatory changes
  • Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy transactions and ensure proper documentation for controlled substances


  • Bachelor s Degree (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
  • Active and clear pharmacist license for the state of TX, Retail experience
