Part Time Pharmacy Technician Chicago IL

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Retail Pharmacy Technician to join a low-volume retail pharmacy in Illinois. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule (2-3 days per week) with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position after four weeks. Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Closed on weekends and holidays
• Part-time (2-3 days per week) with the expectation to transition to permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and fill prescriptions in a low-volume retail pharmacy (about 50 scripts per day).
• Assist pharmacists with day-to-day retail pharmacy duties, including customer service and medication dispensing.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Requirements:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB certification required
• At least 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
