RPh on the Go is actively seeking a Part-Time Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week contract in Newark, New Jersey. This role offers day shift hours and is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to gain experience in a retail setting while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Newark, NJ
• Schedule: Part-time Ongoing
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Setting: Retail pharmacy

Responsibilities:

• Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions
• Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions
• Provide Immunizations to facility residents as well as walk-in customers.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate medication needs and effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions when deemed appropriate

Shift:

• Friday: 9:30am - 6:30pm
• Saturday: 9:30am - 5:00pm

Requirements:

• Clear and active New Jersey Pharmacist license
• Immunization certification
• Recent retail pharmacy experience
