Days/Hours: Friday: 9:30am 6:30pm, Saturday: 9:30am 5:00pm

Client needs an on-going part-time pharmacist to work every Friday + Saturday. Pharmacist must be immunization certified. He wants a pharmacist with a retail background, not clinical.

The pharmacy does anywhere from 100-200 prescriptions a day. They will be the only RPh on shift on Fridays + Saturdays, but they will have 2 filling technicians and 1 certified pharmacy technician on staff with them.

Job Duties:

• Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions
• Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions
• Provide Immunizations to facility residents as well as walk-in customers.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate medication needs and effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions when deemed appropriate

• Clear and active New Jersey Pharmacist license
• Immunization certification
• Recent retail pharmacy experience
