RPh on the Go is seeking a Part-Time Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week contract in Newark, New Jersey. This day shift opportunity is perfect for a pharmacist looking to gain retail experience while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Job Details:

• Location: Newark, NJ
• Schedule: Part-time, ongoing
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Setting: Retail pharmacy

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and medical guidelines.
• Provide counseling and drug-related information to patients for both prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
• Administer immunizations to facility residents and walk-in customers.
• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate medication needs and effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating with healthcare providers as needed.

Schedule:

• Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements:

• Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist License
• Immunization certification
• Recent retail pharmacy experience
