Part-Time Retail Pharmacist Seymour, CT

Exciting Opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist Retail/LTC | 30+ Hours/Week

Position Duration: Ongoing, 3-4 days a week

Pharmacy Hours of Operation:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM - 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM - 6 PM

Shift Availability: Seeking a candidate to work 8-hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the option for occasional weekend rotation.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Medication Dispensing: Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of prescriptions to patients.
• LTC Experience: Verify and manage medication prepacks within Long-Term Care settings.
• Patient Counseling & MTM: Provide detailed medication therapy management and counseling to ensure patients' safety and effectiveness of medications.
• Vaccination Administration: Administer vaccinations as part of patient care services.
• Collaboration: Partner with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care.
• Inventory Control: Oversee and manage pharmaceutical inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Regulatory Compliance: Uphold the highest standards by following all necessary regulations and pharmacy laws.

Qualifications We re Looking For:

• LTC & Retail Experience: Ideal candidates should have a background in both Long-Term Care and Retail pharmacy.
• 1+ Year of Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of recent pharmacist experience.
• Immunization Training: Successful completion of an accredited immunization certification program is a must.
• CT Pharmacist License: Must have a clear, active Connecticut Pharmacist License.
