Part Time Staff Pharmacist - Temp to Perm - West Waco, TX

Are you a dedicated and licensed Pharmacist seeking a rewarding part-time opportunity near West Waco, Texas? RPh on the Go has an exciting 13-week contract position with the potential for permanent placement. As a part-time Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our pharmacy.

Shifts:

• 1st and 2nd shifts, rotating
• Hours: 8:30am-5pm and 10am-7pm

Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacist in this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Supervising pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks to ensure accurate data entry, efficient workflow, pharmacy security, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Overseeing the ordering and prepacking processes executed by pharmacy technicians.
• Scrutinizing all new medication orders for proper dosage, potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.
• Assisting in the appropriate ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances, including maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacy license in the state of Texas.
• Availability to work rotating days and evenings.
• Preferred IV experience.
