We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Patient Services Representative with a strong background in medical billing. This role requires a personable and adaptable individual to assist patients, investigate insurance issues, and maintain smooth front-desk operations in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients promptly and professionally.
- Assist with individual patient concerns, providing clear guidance and solutions.
- Collect essential information, including insurance details, co-pays, deductibles, and account balances.
- Investigate and resolve insurance-related issues efficiently.
- Support the team with additional tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare role is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with computers and office equipment.
- Patient-centric mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for permanent placement.
