Job Title: Pharmacist (Hospital Inpatient)
Location: Winamac, IN
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Shift: Full-Time (30 hours/week)

Overview:
RPH on the go is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our hospital inpatient team in Winamac, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates, as no prior experience is required. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Pioneer RX system and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This is a direct hire position with weekend rotation and on-call duties after full training.

Program System: Pioneer RX

General Job Duties:

• Accurately fill medication orders.
• Verify technician-prepared products before release.
• Maintain the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances.
• Enter orders and patient information accurately into the system.
• Assist in the training of new staff members.
• Provide daily updates on pharmacy activities to the Director.
• Support the Director in maintaining pharmacy operations.

Equipment Utilized:

• EMR: CPSI
• Automated Dispensing Cabinet: Omnicell

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• No prior experience necessary; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, make critical decisions, and address client concerns.
• Proven accuracy and timeliness in previous work settings.
• Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Indiana.

Shift and Schedule Requirements:

• Weekend rotation required.
• On-call duties required after full training.

Floating to Other Units/Departments:

• Will provide coverage in the outpatient pharmacy as needed.

Facility Details:

• 25-bed critical access hospital.

Dress Code:

• Scrubs or business casual attire.
