A high-volume Specialty Pharmacy in New York City is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join their team. This role involves supervising pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and efficiently dispensing medications in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Perform medication dispensing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
• Ensure strict adherence to standardized pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Verify prescriptions, ensuring accurate dosages as prescribed by practitioners.
• Maintain quality control and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Every 7th Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM

Requirements:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing (no negative history).
• Previous Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy experience is required.
• Experience handling high-volume dispensing (800+ prescriptions per day).
• Ability to stand for long periods in one spot.
