Pharmacist - Direct Hire - Hospital Inpatient - Winamac, IN (New Grads Encouraged to Apply)

Position: Pharmacist (Direct Hire)
Location: Winamac, IN
Schedule: Full Time, 30 hours per week (includes weekend rotation and on-call duty after training)

Overview:
Join a 25-bed critical access hospital in Winamac, IN, as a Pharmacist in an inpatient setting. This direct hire position is open to both experienced pharmacists and new graduates. You ll play a key role in ensuring accurate medication dispensing and supporting the overall function of the hospital pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and check technician-prepared products.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances.
• Enter patient information and medication orders accurately into the EMR system.
• Assist in training new staff and collaborate with the Pharmacy Director on daily activities.
• Occasionally float to the outpatient pharmacy as needed.

Equipment Utilized:

• EMR: CPSI
• Automated Dispensing Cabinet: Omnicell

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong decision-making, prioritization, and client service skills.
• Proficiency in pharmacy information systems and other computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Licensure & Certifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school.
• Active Indiana Pharmacist license in good standing.
