Pharmacist (Evenings) - 13-Week Temp to Perm - Ohio

We are looking for a skilled Pharmacist for an evening shift role in Ohio, with a 13-week assignment and the potential for temp-to-perm. This position requires overseeing pharmacy operations, including the management of pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks, as well as ensuring the proper handling and documentation of medications and controlled substances. Experience in high-volume or compounding pharmacy environments is beneficial.

Location: Ohio

Term of Assignment:

• 13 weeks with a chance for direct hire

Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 12:00am

Job Duties:

• Oversee pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure accurate data entry, efficient workflow, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Supervise the ordering and prepacking processes conducted by pharmacy technicians.
• Screen all new medication orders for appropriate dosing, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.
• Assist with the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances.
• Maintain a perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.

Required Qualifications:

• Clear and active Ohio Pharmacist license
• Background in high-volume or compounding pharmacy is a plus
