Pharmacist for Hospital Inpatient NEW GRADS Encouraged - Winamac, IN

Direct Hire Hospital Inpatient Pharmacist position in Winamac, Indiana, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Overview:

• Shift: Full-time, 30 hours per week
• Hospital Size: 25-bed critical access hospital
• Weekend rotation is required, with on-call duty after training.
• Floating: Pharmacists will also cover the outpatient pharmacy as needed.

General Job Duties:

• Accurately filling medication orders
• Checking technician-prepared products before release
• Maintaining pharmacy and controlled substances security
• Accurately entering patient information and orders
• Assisting in training new staff members
• Updating the Director on daily activities and assisting in pharmacy maintenance

Equipment Utilized:

• EMR: CPSI
• Automated Dispensing Cabinet: Omnicell

Required Skills & Experience:

• No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work environment
• Proficiency with computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy systems)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Licensure and Certifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school
• Active Indiana Pharmacist license in good standing
