Pharmacist for Inpatient Hospital - Winamac, IN

Position: Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist
Location: Winamac, IN
Terms: Direct Hire
Shift: Full-time (30 hours/week)

Overview:

RPH on the go is looking for a Pharmacist to join a 25-bed critical access hospital in Winamac, Indiana. This is a full-time role with weekend rotation and on-call duty after training. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

General Job Duties:

  • Accurately fill medication orders.
  • Check technician-prepared products before release.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and manage controlled substances.
  • Enter orders and patient information accurately.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members.
  • Update the Director on daily activities and assist in pharmacy maintenance.

Equipment Utilized:

  • EMR: CPSI
  • Automated Dispensing Cabinet: Omnicell

Required Skills and Experience:

  • No experience necessary; new graduates welcome.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns.
  • Accuracy and timeliness in work settings.
  • Experience using computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Indiana.

Shift or Schedule Requirements:

  • Weekend rotation required.
  • On-call duty after full training.

Additional Details:

  • May cover in outpatient pharmacy as needed.
  • Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual.
