Pharmacist Full Time in New York City, NY (near Central Park)

RPh on the go is seeking a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist for a pharmacy located near Central Park in New York City, NY. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a supportive team in a high-volume pharmacy.

Position Details:

• Location: New York City, NY (near Central Park)
• Term: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
• Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, Day Shift
  • Option to work Saturdays (9 AM - 2 PM) and take Thursdays off if preferred
  • Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 9 AM - 5 PM, Saturday 9 AM - 2 PM

Job Overview:

The Staff Pharmacist will work under the guidance of the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) and be responsible for the following:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with professional policies and procedures
• Dispense medications and verify prescription instructions from healthcare providers
• Manage daily pharmacy operations in a high-volume environment (800+ prescriptions per day)

Requirements:

• License: Active, clear New York State Pharmacist license with no negative history
• Experience:
  • Previous experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy
  • Must have high-volume experience (handling 800+ prescriptions per day)
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods in one spot
  • Manual dexterity for sustained periods

Working Conditions:

• Environment: Constant standing or walking is required
