Pharmacist- Full Time: Outpatient Pharmacy (Alamogordo, NM)

Position: Outpatient Pharmacist

Duration: 8+ Weeks

Location: Alamogordo, NM

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outpatient Pharmacist to join our team for an 8+ week assignment. The ideal candidate will be a licensed pharmacist with at least 1 year of recent experience, capable of working full-time and covering callouts, vacations, and holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions, verify medication orders, and provide counseling to patients on proper medication use and potential side effects.
• Deliver exceptional service to patients by addressing their medication-related inquiries and providing professional advice.
• Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding the dispensing of medications and patient privacy.

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacy experience in an outpatient setting.
• Must be available to work full-time and cover all call-outs, vacations, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
