Pharmacist: Full Time- Outpatient Pharmacy (Alamogordo, NM)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outpatient Pharmacist to join our team on a temporary basis for an 8+ week assignment. As an integral part of our pharmacy team, you will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care, including medication dispensing, verification, and patient counseling.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects.
• Provide expert advice on medication management and interactions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Address and resolve any medication-related issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Valid New Mexico Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an outpatient pharmacy setting.
• Availability to work full-time and cover all call-outs, vacations, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and reliability in handling various shifts and responsibilities.
