Staff Pharmacist Opportunity Southgate, Kentucky

Assignment Duration: 13-Week Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire
Shifts: Monday to Friday, with one weekend shift per month
Hours: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM 5:00 PM. You ll typically work the closing shift (11:00 AM 7:00 PM) just once a week.
Weekend Hours: Saturday: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, Sunday: 11:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
We re looking for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to join a well-established team in Southgate, Kentucky. This is a 13-week contract that could transition into a permanent role. You ll play a key role in providing excellent pharmaceutical care and customer service while managing prescription orders and ensuring proper medication handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and dispense prescriptions for patients, offering counseling on medication and healthcare needs.

• Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain proper documentation, especially with controlled substances.

• Collaborate with physicians, referencing materials to resolve any prescription or customer-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active and clear Pharmacist license in Kentucky.

• A minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, with retail or mail order experience preferred.
