Job Title: Hospital Pharmacist
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM (Every 4th Weekend)
Pay: $60-$64

RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, with a Monday through Friday schedule and an on-call rotation every 4th weekend. Potential for Permanent Hire!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in a hospital setting.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Utilize WellSky EMR for medication management (preferred experience).

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with WellSky EMR is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ohio State Regulations & Requirements:

• Pharmacists must be licensed by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain compliance with all Continuing Education (CE) requirements for licensure.
• Adherence to Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), particularly Chapter 4729, related to professional conduct, prescription dispensing, and controlled substances.
