RPh on the go are seeking a Pharmacist in Charge for a Direct Hire opportunity in Chico, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, including achieving business goals such as sales targets, inventory control, margin improvements, and cost management.
  • Compliance & Record-Keeping: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies related to pharmacy operations, drug storage, and record-keeping.
  • Staff Management: Lead and develop a team of pharmacists and technicians, including recruitment, training, evaluations, and performance management.
  • Customer Care & Pharmacy Programs: Deliver high-quality patient care, including managing the Pharmacy Care program (e.g., immunizations, injections, testing). Provide consultations to patients on medication therapy management.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with senior leadership to implement store programs that enhance prescription volume and meet business objectives. Ensure labor model compliance and resolve complex operational issues.
  • Team Leadership: Foster positive communication and morale between the pharmacy team and store staff, aligning with company goals and initiatives.
  • Staffing & Training: Oversee staff development, ensuring all team members understand and comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Education & Licensing: Bachelor s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required. Licensed pharmacist in the state of employment.
  • Experience & Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmacy laws (e.g., OTC drugs, third-party plans), company policies, and financial reporting.
  • Skills:
    • High initiative, accuracy, and self-motivation.
    • Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
    • Leadership abilities to manage and train staff.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
