Pharmacist in Charge (DOP) - Full-Time (8am-5pm) - Indianapolis, IN

Job Title: Pharmacy Director / PIC

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Contract Duration: 13 weeks + (Potential for Direct Hire)

Setting: Mail Order, Specialty Pharmacy

Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Director of Pharmacy (PIC) to spearhead our bustling mail-order operation in Indianapolis. This pivotal position will guide our transition from processing 50-100 prescriptions daily to an anticipated 500+. Initially, you will be responsible for all pharmacy functions, supervising pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and ancillary personnel, while also mentoring future departmental leaders as we expand.

Primary Duties:

• Direct and manage comprehensive operations of the mail-order pharmacy.
• Ensure adherence to all pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Manage budgetary and P&L responsibilities.
• Create and implement streamlined workflows to accommodate growing volumes.
• Collaborate with the team to promote a supportive and efficient workplace.

Qualifications:

• Education: PharmD degree required.
• Experience: 8-10 years in pharmacy, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position.
• Specialized Experience: Strong background in managing a moderate-to-high volume mail order or specialty pharmacy is highly desirable.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid Indiana pharmacy license.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
