Pharmacist in Charge Alexandria, LA (90-Day Assignment)

Looking for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) role in Alexandria, LA? We have an exciting opportunity for a 90-day contract where you ll be running a small pharmacy with a supportive team and training available. This is a great position for an experienced Pharmacist who thrives in a solo work environment and is looking for a short-term commitment with the possibility of extension.

Position Details:

• Position: Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Location: Alexandria, LA
• Duration: 90-Day Contract
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am 4:00 pm (Optional Friday shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure accuracy in prescription filling (less than 40 prescriptions per day)
• Work independently with no pharmacy tech support (remote and onsite training provided)
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Provide exceptional patient counseling and support
• Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure efficient workflow
• Coordinate with sister sites for additional support when needed

Requirements:

• Active Louisiana Pharmacist License (clear and in good standing)
• 3+ years of recent retail or outpatient pharmacy experience
• 1+ year of recent Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) experience
• Ability to work independently and manage a small pharmacy environment
