RPh on the go is searching for a Pharmacist in Charge. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience. Travel opportunity in state.

Hours are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure that the pharmacy adheres to all state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
    • Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping to meet regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
  2. Staff Management:

    • Supervise, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel.
    • Schedule staff shifts and manage work assignments to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
    • Address and resolve any staff conflicts or performance issues.
  3. Operational Oversight:

    • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, medication dispensing, and patient consultations.
    • Implement and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and patient safety.
    • Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating medications.
  4. Patient Care:

    • Provide direct patient care by reviewing and dispensing prescriptions, offering medication counseling, and addressing patient questions and concerns.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy and patient outcomes.
    • Monitor and manage patient medication therapy to avoid potential drug interactions and adverse effects.
  5. Quality Assurance:

    • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve pharmacy services.
    • Investigate and resolve medication errors, patient complaints, and adverse drug reactions.
    • Ensure the pharmacy maintains high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Duties: will be PIC and Staff - management of pharmacy and filling, verifying.


Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing Daily Operations:
Manage and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to regulations.
Ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapies2.
Medication Management:
Review and interpret physician orders, verify prescriptions, and detect therapeutic incompatibilities
Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals2.
Patient Care:
Counsel patients about their medications and provide specialized services to help manage conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and high blood pressure2.
Educate customers on potential drug interactions3.
Compliance and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and ensure medications are appropriately labeled and stored2.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws governing pharmacy activities21.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes4.
Assist in the coordination of pharmacy practices with other healthcare departments2.

Requirements

  • Arkansas license clear and active
  • RX30 experience a plus
