Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing Daily Operations:

• Manage and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and regulatory compliance
• Ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapies

Medication Management:

• Review and interpret physician orders, verify prescriptions, and identify therapeutic incompatibilities
• Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals

Patient Care:

• Counsel patients on medication use and provide specialized services for conditions like diabetes, asthma, and high blood pressure
• Educate patients on potential drug interactions

Compliance and Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure medications are labeled and stored properly
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws

Coordination and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist in coordinating pharmacy practices with other healthcare departments

Requirements:

• Arkansas Pharmacist License: Clear and active
• 2+ Years of Experience: Required
• RX30 Experience: A plus
