Job Title: Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) / Director of Pharmacy (DOP)
Location: Monterey Park, CA

Start Date: September 15, 2024

Hospital Details:

• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Order Entry System: CPSI
• Dispensing: Via cart fill and night locker (no automation system)
• IV Compounding: Available (no chemotherapy)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

• This role will function as the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) and Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with a primary focus on DOP duties. There will be no staffing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure a competent and motivated team.
• Develop and manage the pharmacy department's budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or Director of Pharmacy (DOP).
• A minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient experience.

Compensation:

• Pay starting at $65 per hour.
• Travel arrangements can be made if needed.
