Job Title: Pharmacist in Charge Direct Hire
Location: Crandon, WI

As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including:
- Interact with medical personnel and customers, providing advice on side effects, drug interactions, and dosages.
- Oversee all insurance claims processing.
- Develop policies and procedures; evaluate program effectiveness.
- Instruct and supervise nonprofessional assistants; lead in-service training.
- Report controlled substance shortages or theft to law enforcement, DEA, and other appropriate authorities.
- Assist with Adverse Drug Event form documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy-related laws and regulations, including the Drug Quality & Security Act.
- Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, including nonprofessional assistants.
- Oversee the proper filling, dispensing, and secure storage of medications.
- Maintain accurate and retrievable records for all prescription drugs, including controlled substances.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Clear and active Wisconsin pharmacist license.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of recent pharmacy experience, retail preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).
