About the Role:
As the Pharmacist In Charge, you will lead the pharmacy operations in a well-established LTC setting with a dedicated team of pharmacy technicians. You ll oversee all aspects of the pharmacy, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and superior patient care.
Key Details:
- Location: Windsor, CA
- Schedule: Flexible Pharmacy operates Monday - Friday (10:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and Saturday (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM). As PIC, you ll create your own schedule!
- Software System: McKesson Enterprise Rx (ERx)
- Average Daily Volume: 100 Rx/day
- Start Date: ASAP
- Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, including prior management experience.
- Bonuses: Quarterly performance-based bonuses, with the potential to earn up to $16,000/year.
- Relocation Bonus: Available for eligible candidates.
- Guarantee Period: 60 days (pro-rated fee)
Essential Job Functions:
- Leadership & Operations: Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including customer service, sales, inventory management, staff development, and financial control.
- Compliance: Ensure the pharmacy complies with all state, federal, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Staff Development: Lead the hiring, training, and development of pharmacy staff, ensuring a high-performing team and preparing future pharmacy managers.
- Pharmacy Care Program: Actively manage services such as immunizations, injections, and testing.
- Customer Care: Deliver superior customer service, ensuring that pharmacy staff meet customer needs efficiently.
- Sales & Business Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to meet sales objectives and drive prescription volume.
- Operational Excellence: Address complex operational challenges with effective solutions to maintain smooth workflows.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. or PharmD) required.
- Licensed Pharmacist in California.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, OTC drugs, and third-party plans.
- Understanding of pharmacy policies, procedures, and financial reports.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and build relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and pharmacy software systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
