Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (Full-Time)


About the Position:
We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to take on a leadership role at a brand-new 503b facility in Plant City, FL. This exciting position is with a well-established specialty pharmacy that is expanding its operations. The main facility is located in West Palm Beach, and the new site in Plant City will focus on compounding a variety of specialized medications, including hormone replacement therapies, weight-loss medications, anti-aging treatments, and more.

The ideal candidate will have strong sterile compounding experience, especially with injectables and powders, and a passion for leading a team and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact at a growing facility.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists, as well as pre-production, cleanroom, and post-production staff.
  • Oversee the compounding process, ensuring adherence to cGMP standards and maintaining accurate documentation for regulatory purposes.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of batch records and ensure all processes meet industry standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Handle staff management, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and providing feedback, in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Support the team with compounding medications as needed, ensuring quality and safety throughout all operations.

Qualifications Required:

  • Active Pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile compounding, with specific expertise in injectables and powders.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pharmacy management.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards, including cGMP and pharmacy compliance laws.
