Pharmacist in Charge/Pharmacy Manager-Wausau-WI

RPh on the go is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge or a Pharmacy Manager.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• On-call: 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM (weekdays), 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday as needed
• Must be available to start on October 14, 2024
• Contract duration: Approximately 8 weeks or longer

Overview: Join our team as a Pharmacy Leader during a pivotal time of transition within our hospital system. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to meet the evolving needs of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication management.
• Oversee pharmacy staff and facilitate training and development.
• Utilize Wellsky and Pyxis systems effectively in daily operations.
• Address customer requirements and enhance patient care through pharmacy services.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy-In-Charge (PIC).
• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacist License.
• 2+ years of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on customer service.
• Familiarity with Wellsky software preferred.
• Experience with Pyxis automation systems.
• No IV compounding required.
