Position: Pharmacist
Location: New York City, NY (Near Central Park)
Term of Assignment: Full-Time Temp to Perm
Schedule: Monday - Saturday, with Thursdays off (Day Shift)
Hours of Operation:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Overview:
The Staff Pharmacist will work closely with the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC), supervising pharmacy technicians, students, interns, and support staff. The role involves strict adherence to professional policies and overseeing the dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform duties assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students, interns, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with professional policies and procedures.
• Fill prescriptions, verifying instructions on the correct amounts of medication to dispense.
• Manage all activities related to medication dispensing.

Requirements:

• Active NY State Pharmacist license (no negative history).
• Previous experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy is required.
• Must have experience working in high-volume pharmacies (800+ prescriptions per day).
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in one spot.

Working Conditions:

• Constant standing or walking required.
• Manual dexterity needed for sustained periods.
