Pharmacist- Infusion- Phoenix, AZ

RPh on the Go is searching for a Clinical Pharmacist to add to our team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 13 week temp to perm position and we are actively interviewing to start ASAP.

Shifts:
Mon - Fri working 8-hour shifts within the hours of 8a-7:30p, rotating "on call" weekends

Overview:

• Infusion pharmacy working strictly with acute conditions, preparing sterile compounds for mainly:
  - IVs/Hydration
  - TPNs
  - Antibiotics
• Exercises sound professional judgment in assuming responsibility for the medication use process and for patient outcomes, following pre-established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Oversees the efficient dispensing, processing, and recording of prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists, and/or other authorized healthcare providers.
• Communicate with providers to influence optimal drug therapy in accordance with approved protocols and current practice.
• Monitors patients drug therapy and provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers.
• Oversees and directs pharmacy technical staff in the execution of technical functions
  

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1-2 years in an infusion pharmacy setting and strong clinical and communication skills to work with patients and providers
• AZ license in good standing
