Position Overview

• Title: Travel Pharmacist
• Location: Montana (travel assistance provided)
• Setting: Inpatient Pharmacy
• Software: EPIC
• Employment Type: Contract
• Shift: M-F, Day Shift, On Call Hours TBD

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications
• Compound medications as needed following USP 797 guidelines
• Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure efficient, compliant operations
• Maintain adherence to federal and state pharmacy regulations

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Montana Pharmacist license
• 1+ year of Inpatient pharmacy experience
• Ability to work required shifts/hours
• Experience using EPIC required
• Willingness to begin once onboarding/compliance is complete
