Job Posting: IV Pharmacist - 13-weeks Temp to Perm

Job Duties:

As an IV Pharmacist in our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervision: Oversee the pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure proper data entry, workflow, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules.

• Order Management: Supervise ordering and prepacking activities conducted by pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Medication Screening: Screen all new medication orders for appropriate dose, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications prior to dispensing the medication.

• Controlled Substances: Assist in the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances, maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Clear and active license in the state of Texas.
• IV experience.
• Availability to work rotating days and evenings.

Location: West Waco, TX

Shifts: 1st, 2nd - Rotating

Hours: 8:30am-5pm and 10am-7pm
