Inpatient Pharmacist needed URGENT

RPH is in URGENT need of an inpatient pharmacist for the Watford City Area, ND. This is a temp to perm position for the right candidate. If you're looking to get away from the big city, and all that hustle, than this is the place for you. Voted Tripadvisor Cities to visit 2022. with dozens of outdoor activities, parks, sight seeing, and historic landmarks you will have plenty to do after work. 

Schedule: 40hours 8am - 430pm (First shift) 

Duties:

  • Verifying that all medications have been properly ordered by a physician and are appropriate for the patient’s condition
  • Explaining medication instructions to patients and family members
  • Dispensing medications in accordance with physicians’ orders
  • Monitoring patients’ reactions to medications, including side effects and adverse events
  • Reviewing and updating patient records to ensure that all information is up to date and accurate
  • Providing counseling on medication therapy to patients and their families
  • Communicating with physicians regarding changes in patient status or response to treatment
  • Prescribing medications in accordance with state laws and regulations
  • Educating patients about their medications and helping them manage their treatment plans
  • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patients’ progress or difficulties with treatment programs

Requirement:

  • ND License 
  • Clean background and pass a background test 
  • Inpatient experience
