RPh on the go is seeking a Pharmacy Technician.

Hours of Operation:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Must be willing to work 40 hours per week.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail or mail-order pharmacy setting. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy tasks, ensuring efficient, accurate, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and accurately input medication orders into the computer system (Pioneer).
• Utilize the ScriptPro robot for medication dispensing.
• Perform data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Package medications for patient distribution.
• Assist in processing mail orders (approximately 10% of scripts).
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent pharmacy experience, preferably in retail or mail order pharmacy.
• Maine Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Proficient in the use of pharmacy software systems (Pioneer experience is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the pharmacy team and provide exceptional customer service.
