Pharmacist (Maternity Leave Coverage) - Jacksonville FL

RPh on the Go is actively hiring for a Pharmacist to provide maternity leave coverage at a specialty retail pharmacy in Jacksonville, Florida. This assignment begins with training in mid-July and will run for approximately 16 18 weeks. The ideal candidate will have retail pharmacy experience and experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications, even if minimal. A strong commitment to patient care and team collaboration is essential in this role.

Position Details:

• Location: Jacksonville, FL

• Duration: 16 18 weeks

Schedule:

• Monday Thursday: 8:30am 5:30pm
• Friday: 8:30am 12:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense prescriptions in a fast-paced retail setting
• Provide patient consultations and medication counseling
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Communicate effectively with providers and the healthcare team
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, care, and pharmacy intuition

Requirements:

• Active and clear Florida Pharmacist license
• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience preferred (If yes, it must be noted on resume)
• Proficient with pharmacy software; QS1 experience preferred (will train)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to reliability
• Positive attitude and ability to be proactive in daily duties
