A well-established specialty pharmacy in Manhattan is hiring a full-time Pharmacist for a temp-to-perm position. This role is ideal for someone experienced in high-volume environments who s looking for long-term stability and professional growth.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM. Every 7th Saturday, 9:00 AM 2:00 PM.

Position Overview: The selected pharmacist will work closely with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to manage day-to-day operations. You ll lead support staff, maintain compliance standards, and ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy pharmacy are key.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise technicians and interns, ensure adherence to pharmacy protocols, review prescriptions for accuracy, process medication orders according to prescriber instructions, and uphold quality and safety standards at all times.

Requirements: Active NY Pharmacist license with a clean record is required. Must have prior experience in a retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy setting. Experience handling 800+ prescriptions per day is essential. Candidates must be able to stand in one place for extended periods and work in a physically active environment.
