Staff Pharmacist Inpatient/ER Experience (Travel/Local) Peridot, AZ

A healthcare facility in Peridot, AZ, is seeking two outpatient pharmacists and one inpatient/ER pharmacist for a 13+ week contract. The role involves hospital pharmacy experience with a focus on patient care, medication management, and operational efficiency. Competitive compensation and travel support are available.

Duties:

• Supervise daily pharmacy operations to ensure quality and compliance.

• Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost-effective medication use.

• Direct the implementation and maintenance of computer-based dispensing systems.

• Provide medication counseling and support to hospital staff and patients.

• Assess, develop, and implement operational improvements.

• Prepare monthly reports and participate in quality assurance initiatives.

• Educate and train staff to promote professional growth.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations.

Schedule/Shift:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

• Variable shifts (days, nights, swing shifts, and weekends)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience, including 2 years of management experience.

• Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred, 1-year residency preferred).

• Current and valid Pharmacy license.

• BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

• Inpatient/ER Pharmacist must have ACLS & PALS (PALS can be obtained on-site within the first month).

• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
