Pharmacist - Overnights - Sterile Compounding - Full-Time - Fairfield, OH

Hours:
Monday to Friday with every 3rd weekend rotation

Duties:
As a Clinical Pharmacist in an inpatient hospital setting, the responsibilities include:

• Direct patient care involvement
• Management of medication therapies
• Evaluation of drug efficacy
• Ordering and assessment of laboratory tests
• Conducting medication history and counseling
• Direct communication with healthcare providers for medication management and therapy adjustments
• Providing drug information to healthcare professionals and responding to provider-initiated inquiries
• Oversight of satellite pharmacies, potentially involving tasks like sterile product processing in the IV Admixture Service and OR pharmacy.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Pharmacy required; Pharm.D degree preferred
• ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency preferred; equivalent experience (3 years of acute care hospital experience) will be considered
• Board certification is preferred
• Current licensure in the state of Delaware or obtainable before the start of employment

This position is a 13-week contract for a Clinical Pharmacist in an inpatient hospital, requiring day shift work and a rotating weekend schedule. Candidates must have the necessary qualifications and experience in acute care settings, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.
