Pharmacist - Part Time - Temp to Perm - Waco, TX

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team in Waco, TX. This 13-week contract assignment offers the potential for permanent placement. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services. If you are a licensed pharmacist in the state of Texas and possess a strong commitment to patient care, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pharmacy Team Oversight: Provide supervision and guidance to pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks, ensuring accurate data entry, workflow management, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules.

• Medication Review: Conduct thorough reviews of all new medication orders, verifying appropriate dose, identifying potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing medications.

• Controlled Substances Management: Assist in the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances. Contribute to maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License: Possess a clear and active license to practice pharmacy in the state of Texas.

• Flexibility: Availability to work rotating shifts, including days and evenings.

• IV Experience: Preferred experience in intravenous medication preparation and administration.
