Per Diem Pharmacist Coverage - Specialty/Retail - Montgomery, AL

Position: Per Diem Pharmacist
Location: Montgomery, AL
Term of Assignment:

• Dates: Sept 13, Oct 11, Oct 29, Oct 30 (plus ongoing needs)
• Training will be provided prior to the assignment dates.

Overview: Join a specialty pharmacy at a new location with a great company that fosters a family-like atmosphere. Ongoing needs will be communicated with 1-2 months' notice.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Duties:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure the smooth operation of a busy, independent/specialty pharmacy.

Requirements:

• Active Alabama State Pharmacist license (with no negative history).
• 2+ years of recent retail staff pharmacy experience.
• Experience with Pioneer RX is a plus.
• Strong ability to manage a team (1 pharmacy technician).
