Overview:

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Travel Inpatient/Outpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in Peridot, AZ. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in pharmacy management and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Shift:

  • 5 days a week, 8 hours per shift

Essential Functions:

  1. Direct, manage, and supervise daily administrative operations to ensure high-quality service delivery in line with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards.
  2. Develop operational and financial outcome measures and implement tracking systems to integrate efforts into organization-wide Quality Improvement systems.
  3. Direct, implement, and evaluate the development of departmental and service-related policies and procedures.
  4. Proactively assess program effectiveness and make consistent efforts to facilitate continuous process improvement.
  5. Supervise staff by providing timely feedback and utilizing appropriate Human Resource policies to foster professional growth.
  6. Plan, implement, and evaluate computer-based information and dispensing systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy in data capture.
  7. Manage purchasing and inventory functions to ensure cost-effective inventory management and timely availability of pharmaceuticals.
  8. Facilitate staff development by assessing learning needs and coordinating relevant training opportunities.
  9. Prepare monthly progress and operational reports, identifying areas for improvement and recommendations.
  10. Participate in departmental orientation, on-the-job training, and quality assurance programs.
  11. Engage in hospital educational programs to maintain skills and competencies, discussing performance needs with the Supervisor.
  12. Perform additional duties as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional pharmacy experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred, along with 1 year of residency.
  • Licensure: Current and valid state Pharmacy license required.
  • Certifications: BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
