Job Title: PRN Pharmacist - Community Pharmacy Coverage

Location: Rowland, NC (Three locations within a 15-minute drive)

About Our Client: Our client operates a trio of community pharmacies situated in small, rural North Carolina towns. These pharmacies are conveniently located within a 15-minute radius, serving essential needs for the local community.

Position Summary: We are looking for a reliable and adaptable PRN Pharmacist to cover shifts across all three locations as needed. This role is perfect for those seeking part-time work or additional hours, such as semi-retired individuals or stay-at-home parents ready to ease back into the workforce.

Assignment Details:

• Type: PRN (As-needed basis)
• Locations: 3 pharmacies, each approximately 15 minutes apart
• Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Saturday: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
  • Sunday: Closed

Primary Duties:

• Execute all essential functions of a retail pharmacist
• Verify and dispense medications
• Supervise pharmacy technicians
• Offer patient counseling and medication guidance
• Provide vaccinations (if certified)
• Handle prescription volumes ranging between 150 and 350 per day, varying by location

Technology:

• Experience with Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems preferred, but not mandatory

Qualifications:

• Active NC State Pharmacist license with no disciplinary issues
• Flexible with scheduling and shift changes
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Immunization certification preferred
• Familiarity with Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems is a bonus
