Position Title: PRN Pharmacist

Location: Red Springs, NC (Ongoing opportunities in Red Springs, Rowland, and Pembroke)

Immediate Schedule Needs:

• Thursday: Pembroke, NC
• Friday: Rowland, NC

Assignment Overview:

• Type: PRN with ongoing needs
• Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Key Duties:

• Carry out all core functions of a retail pharmacist.
• Verify and ensure the accuracy of prescriptions.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and their work.
• Provide patient counseling and health education.
• Administer vaccinations as required.
• Manage prescription volume, which typically ranges from 150-350 per day at each location.

Software Used: Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems

Qualifications:

• Must possess a current and active NC State Pharmacist license (without negative history).
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate pharmacy needs.
• Experience with Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certified to provide immunizations.

We are looking for a flexible pharmacist who can step in as needed. This position is perfect for semi-retired individuals or stay-at-home parents who are not yet ready to return to full-time work.
